Croc Dundee 40th Anniversary

We're throwing a party to celebrate!

In 1986, our little pub in McKinlay, Queensland became part of Australian film history. Crocodile Dundee hit cinema screens, became the highest-grossing Australian film of all time, and the Walkabout Creek Hotel was never quite the same again.

Forty years on, we reckon that deserves a proper celebration.

What's on

We're putting on two days of live music, outback fun and cold drinks right here at the pub.

• Live music both nights with The Barnyard Band — one of Queensland's best touring country acts, bringing full concert production to McKinlay

• The Dundee Derby — get a team of three together and compete in a Croc Dundee-themed challenge event

• Camp at McKinlay Racecourse with shuttle buses running to and from us all weekend

• A variety of food stalls on site
